Our brain can store about 1 TB (Terabyte) data. It is just like a bermuda triangle, you can fill in it everything without spilling over. It depends how judiciously we use it

WAR BETWEEN POSITIVES AND NEGATIVES

"Just because I have a different path than you does not mean I am wrong"

There are two type of people in this world. The positives and the negatives.

The Negatives hold a huge percentage of mass. They have got used to of talking ,thinking, planning, eating and walking in negativities. They are habitual of this .
If it rains heavily for two days they say- "Surely it will bring flood, I know." They don't even wait for IMD to predict the rain(apparently wrong predictions of IMD gives a license to them to call themselves future predictors).
If a fruit seller sells cheaper fruits just to end the sale of the day they say-"surely they must have been rotten."
This lockdown saw the birth of so called Astrologers (without any degree) who could easily prophecy about the world to end soon or the beginning of the doomsday. Their overconfidence mobilized people like the "echo chamber effect" of social media.

Such negative thoughts train the brain just like robots who are programmed to work as per the owner's wish. As kids we were taught in school about, listening to the voice of angel in your heart instead of demons. One could never make sense in those days about the features of a demon inside human body. Demons within us are nothing but the negative thoughts. They have grabbed the world so strongly or to say the world has grabbed them so strongly that one fails classify them as demonish. If we conduct a survey about these traits, more than half of the population with such thoughts will call themselves as veteren. Their cynicism has made them blind folded to such an extent that they have lost the ability to think positive.

The others are the Positives. These front runners are not unexperienced but try to find loopholes to think optimistic everytime. They believe that the world has a tendency to evolve. And even if a hundred fruit gets rotten they think of 101st being ripe. Their optimism about world is unescapable. They are often criticized by the world for loaded optimism and even called unexperienced about the worldly happenings. Experts advice them to come out of their shell of a beautiful happy-go-lucky world and to accept the reality of this world. But somehow these positives refuse to believe the opposite and still stay faithful and hopeful.

A different class of positives quite popular these days are Panglossians. Panglossians are characterized by  extreme optimism, especially in the face of unrelieved hardship or adversity. The expression refers to Professor Pangloss, a character in  Optimism, a satirical novel published by the French Enlightenment philosopher Voltaire in 1759.

Candide and his tutor(pangloss) lived a sheltered life in a baron’s castle in Westphalia. Pangloss was way too positive and refused to part with his optimism even after contracting syphilis, becoming a beggar, surviving an earthquake, a fire, and a tsunami, and being almost hanged, among other hardships. Nor was Pangloss’s optimism limited to his outlook on his own affairs. At one point in the story, Jacques, who had helped Pangloss in many ways, including curing his syphilis, is drowning. While Candide tries to save him, Pangloss lets him die because, in his philosophy, whatever happened was for the best, and one should not make any effort to change it.

Optimism as high as unshaken Mount Everest is not always welcomed. In times of thunderstorms, the climbers run back and stop climbing the mountain to avoid dying rather than trying to be a superman. In such scenarios even slight negativity acts as a catalyst to the have an optimistic end. Or one can say that negativity leads to positive outcome many a times.

It is evident that plus and minus cant work independently if the universe has to function smoothly. If there is beauty in rain there is risk of flood too; if there is soothing smell of rose, there are prickly thorns too ; if there is calmness in nature there is risk of natural calamity too ; if there is smile there is sorrow too and so on. No extreme is right or wrong.

Here comes the quote mentioned in the very beginning :"Just because my path is different does not mean I am wrong" just like a fish cant be called as wrong for not walking on the ground as other animals. No belief is perfect. What I think is right at the present moment might be wrong for you at this very moment. A right balance of both the extremes and an acknowledgement of other's thought is the need of the hour. If every human open heartedly welcomes anti belief considering it to be a part of this  ecosystem, the world would become a better place to live.
